Gwent: Big City Players is a Secondary Quest in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Secondary Quests are optional Quests not required to finish the game. Some of these quests may have a bearing on certain Main Quests or may be a consequence of another Quest.

Gwent: Big City Players is a Gwent-related secondary quest where you'll face off against strong Gwent players across Novigrad.

Novigrad is a cosmopolitan city, a true melting pot of diverse diversities. It thus comes as no surprise that the Free City contains a multitude of top-class gwent players from all strata and races, each linked by the fact that they possess highly powerful cards. Geralt decided to make the rounds of the Novigrad gwent circuit and win these cards for himself.

Walkthrough for The Witcher 3 Gwent: Big City Players

For this quest, you would need to find four Gwent players across Novigrad, namely Vimme Vivaldi, Sigi Reuven, Marquise Serenity, and the Scoia'tael Merchant. After defeating them, you will be rewarded with their unique cards.

Vimme Vivaldi can be found at the Vivaldi Bank on Hierarch Square. He will be using the Scoia'tael deck, and once you defeat him, he will give you the Vesemir Card as well as tell you about the next player in Novigrad you can duel.

Sigi Reuven can be found at the bathhouse in Novigrad. He will be using the Northern Realms deck, and once you defeat him, he will give you the Esterad Thyssen Card. Do note that Sigi Reuven will be unreachable at the start of the Final Preparations quest, and if you choose to deal with him diplomatically during the quest Blindingly Obvious, he will also be unavailable until you finish the quest Reason of State. If you want to play with Sigi Reuven and not side with him during the Reason of State, you would have to do it before the quest The Isle of Mists. If you do not side with him at the end of Reason of State, he will die but you will still receive his unique card after you defeat Vimme Vivaldi and Marquise Serenity, and the quest will automatically be marked complete afterward.

Marquise Serenity can be found at the Passiflora in Novigrad. She uses the Nilfgaardian Empire deck, and once you defeat her, she will give you the Morvran Voorhis Card.

The Scoia'tael Merchant can be found just within the forest outside Novigrad, south of the city. He uses the Scoia'tael Deck and once you defeat him, he will give you the Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon Card and the Francesca Findabair - The Beautiful Card.

Each match will reward you with 25 XP and once you've defeated all four of them, the quest will be completed.
