Final Preparations is a Main Quest in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Main Quests are the main storyline of the game that can have a major effect towards the endings. Some of these quests may have dialogue choices that will alter the ending of the game.

Ciri's spirits were high after killing Imlerith, but Geralt knew this fight had been but an appetizer before the full course of battle still to come. As part of their preparations, Geralt and Ciri rode to Novigrad, where Triss and Yennefer were trying to reconvene the Lodge of Sorceresses. Avallac'h was waiting there as well, and had his own ideas how to tip the scales of victory in our allies favor during their final confrontation with Eredin...

Geralt and the sorceresses successfully gathered their allies and reonvened Lodge of Sorceress. Though many obstacles had threatened to block their progress, they had surmounted them all and emerged relatively unscathed. All the preliminaries were now finished - and the last battle against the Wild Hunt coumd commence.

The Witcher 3 Final Preparations Objectives

1. Talk to Yennefer.
2. Wait for daylight.
3. Help Ciri take care of her business in Novigrad.
4. Talk to Triss.
5. Meet Yennefer and the Lodge of Sorceresses at Dandelion's inn.
6. Talk to Avallac'h.

Walkthrough for Final Preparations The Final Trial

This quest begins automatically when Bald Mountain finishes. Several situations are now in play:

• During Now or Never if you romatically engage with Triss, and during Last Wish if you romantically engage with Yen, then Three to Tango is available. If you didn't do both then it is not available.
• If you killed *****son Junior during Get Junior, you speak with Dudu during this quest, if not you speak with *****son during these quests.
• During For the Advancement of Learning if you ask Keir to travel to Kaer Morhen, she has already left. If you let her visit Radovid, she has been executed by the witch hunters. A Final Kindness is then available.
• If Sile surived in Witcher 2, she can be found with Margarita during The Great Escape. If not she is not in the prison.
• During Now or Never, if you rescued the mages and sorceresses, Radovid and the witch hunters have begun burning nonhumans instead. If not all the mages and sorceresses are burned at the stake.
• During Reason of State if you helped with the plot to assassinate the king this quest continues after speaking to Dijkstra during the quest Blindingly Obvious.

One week has passed since you defeated Imlerith and you have returned to Novigrad. Enter Dandelion's place, Rosemary and Thyme and speak to Zoltan, answering however you wish. Speak to Dandelion. This quest now becomes a tracking quest and tracks the events of Blindingly Obvious, The Great Escape and Payback. You can now begin any of those three.

Once you have completed the three quests, return to the Rosemary and Thyme. Ciri is at the top of the stairs. You may choose to stay put and spy through the keyhole, improving Ciri's confidence and making a positive choice towards her fate. If you go in with her and back her up this shakes her self confidence and has a negative impact on her fate.

Ciri will be invited to join the lodge. Yen arrives and asks you to check on Avallac'h. The quest Through Time and Space now begins.
