Enchanting: Quality Has Its Price is a Secondary Quest in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. This Secondary Quest is a part of the Hearts of Stone DLC. Secondary Quests are optional Quests not required to finish the game. Some of these quests may have a bearing on certain Main Quests or may be a consequence of another Quest.
Enchanting: Quality Has Its Price requires that you give the Oferi Merchant donate 5000 crowns during the Enchanting: Start-up Costs.
The Ofieri runewright got down to work, but announced at once that more advanced runes or glyphs would require special materials. Jade, it seems, is a necessary part of advanced runewrighting. Since Geralt was interested in enchanted goods of the better sort, he decided to look around for a hunk of this element.

To access this quest, you must donate 5000 crowns during the Hearts of Stone secondary quest; Enchanting: Start-up Costs. Head out of the runewright's tent to obtain the pickaxe on the left in the barn.
Tracking the quest will reveal 3 location markers in your map which will lead you to the search areas for the quest. This will lead you to 3 search areas, but only one will have the Jade. Head to Bloodrot Pit where The Drakenborg Redemption Treasure Hunt also takes place. The cave will have a mound. Use your Witcher Senses to highlight the area and use your pickacke on it to receive the Jade. Finally, take the hunk of Jade to the Oferi runewright. Return to the Oferi runewright to complete the quest. This will also grant you access to his shop.

Finding large quantities of jade was not easy, but when the witcher set his mind to it, he could even find a dove in a blizzard. Soon enough the Ofieri runewright had what he desired.
