  • 0 gold
  • 0 items

Upon first discovering this quest you will need to save the dog from the wolf pack, simply use Igni with a combination of sword attacks until they're slain. Afterwards follow the dog into Drudge, where you will find the bandits waiting by the signpost there. After killing them search inside the house they were standing by and use your witcher senses to dedicate the cellar. Once you have access to the cellar by using the key found on the dog's collar the quest will be complete.

Notes & Trivia

  • If initially arriving at Drudge via boat and not running into the dog the bandits will not spawn within Drudge, because of this the player will be free to roam and will still be able to access the quest if they ride the road leading north.

How can the quest "A Dogs Life" bug be fixed? I've reloaded many saved games I have and yet I cannot access the note needed to complete the quest. I followed the dog and defeted the bandits but when I search the abandoned house with my Witcher Senses and loot the chest it doesn't give me the items I need.

I would love to finish this quest without starting the whole game over 1 certain thing.
All help would be appreciated, thanks in advance
