The Witcher 3:Wild Hunt Complete Edition is a special edition of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Previously known as the Game of the Year Edition, the Complete Edition is a version of the game that includes both paid expansions for the game - Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine - as well as all past and future free updates and patches.
The Game of the Year Edition was previously released on the 30th of August, 2016 and was subsequently renamed the Complete Edition for the Next-Gen Update on the 14th of December, 2022. While the Game of the Year Edition was available for purchase for the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One, the Complete Edition is now only available for the PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S. Physical copies of the Complete Edition will be released at a later date.
As part of the renaming of the Complete Edition for the Next-Gen Update, the Complete Edition of The Witcher 3 features many graphical improvements and quality of life changes to Sign usage, map display, quest fixes etc. In addition, those who owned the Complete Edition earned additional rewards as part of the update.
