  • Location: Vikk Watchtower

This Treasure Hunt is activated by obtaining Nicolas Cogel's laboratory notebook & a Chest Key. It can be found: found on a body slumped on a stone wall

The Vikk Watchtower is located northeast of the Temerian Partisan Hideout signpost. Loot the body slumped against the stone wall that contains Nicolas Cogel's laboratory notebook & a Chest Key to begin the treasure hunt. Read the notebook and track the quest to the laboratory. Use your witcher senses in the search area and head up to the second floor. There is a set of stairs outside. Make your way all the way ot the top and there will be a chest. Loot it to complete the quest.

Journal Entry:

Nicolas Vogel's laboratory notebook described the experiments the mad mage had conducted on harpies and also mentioned a hidden stash of coin. The chest's contents would be no use to Nicolas in the afterlife, so Geralt decided to secure them for himself.
He found the treasure chest atop the ruined tower. After emptying the thoroughly pecked container of its contents, the brave witcher continued on his Path.
