Teigr is a Steel Sword in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Steel Swords form one half of Geralt's primary Weapons which he uses to deal damage to Enemies in combat. Steel Swords are effective against humans as well as non-magical or supernatural opponents such as beasts and some humanoids but are ineffective against most Monsters. They can be enhanced with some Oils to increase their effectiveness against certain targets and some can be socketed with Runestones or Runewords for more bonus effects. This Weapon is available with the "Where the Cat and Wolf Play" free DLC quest.
- Note that Damage and Level are not listed due to Damage's dependence on the item's Level, and the randomness of the item's Level when acquired.
Teigr Weapon Attributes in The Witcher 3
Teigr has the following properties:

Nonhumans refer to cultured races that are not human, but are humanoid in appearance such as Dwarves, Elves, Half-Elves, Quarter-Elves, Gnomes, Dryads and more.
Teigr is unique in that its attributes (Damage) scale to Geralt's level when first obtained. This does not mean that the sword scales with you as you level up, but it affects the sword's level and in turn its damage output when it is "dropped" by its source.
How to obtain Teigr in The Witcher 3
Teigr can be obtained as follows:
- Obtained by killing Gaetan during Where the Cat and Wolf Play and looting his body. If you spare Gaetan instead, the sword can be found in the chest at the end of the follow-up quest Take What You Want.
