Races: Crow's Perch is a Secondary Quest in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Secondary Quests are optional Quests not required to finish the game. Some of these quests may have a bearing on certain Main Quests or may be a consequence of another Quest.
Races: Crow's Perch can be obtained by collecting the notice off of the Notice Board at Crow's Perch in Velen. In this quest, Geralt faces against three opponents on the same horse racing track.
There was not much in the way of entertainment at Crow's Perch, so the baron's men were always looking for new ways to pass the time. One of their favorites -horse racing at night and the chance for friendly (and not-so-friendly) betting that went along with it. Though the witcher had plenty of other things to occupy his time, he decided he could spare a few moments to take part in these races.

Walkthrough for The Witcher 3 Races: Crow's Perch
Once you checked the the notice off the Notice Board, talk to the race coordinator named Radko. There are three different races and you must compete against three different people. After each race, the time will advance to 11pm, so if you decide to complete the races back to back, you will skip ahead three days. You can also race against any of the competitors in any order and after beating one, you cannot race them again. Each contestant will reward you with a set amount of crowns and Horse Equipment.
During each race, just follow the black line on the mini-map, and like any race, going off-course or skipping checkpoints will fail the race and you will have to retry again.
Stuttering Matko is considered as the easiest competitor to race against because you'll never encounter an obstacle when racing against him. Once you beat him, you will be rewarded with a Racing Saddle, 25 , and an extra 20
in addition to how much you bet initially.
Iron-Arse Hans is an intermediate racer to say the least, and an obstacle may appear when you are racing against him. After beating him, you will be rewarded with Saddlebags, 25 , and an extra 30
in addition to how much you bet initially.
Black Bogdan is often the last competitor to be raced. After beating him, you will be rewarded with Horse Blinders, 25 , and an extra 40
in addition to how much you bet initially.
After completing all three races, the quest is completed.
