This Treasure Hunt is activated by obtaining Note. It can be found: On a small landmass with a shipwreck, near Svorlag
The hidden treasure location will be southwest of the Hov signpost at a small island. You can take the boat focked south of he Svorlag signpost location as well. Be careful of the Mucknixer in the area.
When it is safe to explore, there will be a corpse slumped up against a boulder with a note and a key with a ring attached. Read the note and use your Witcher Senses to take you to the underwater treasure. You can start to dive in the waters directly southeast. Be wary of Siren enemies. The quest ends when you find the sunken chest.
The crooked mast marks the spot - but not just any fool can find the treasure.
You can say a great many things about Geralt, but one thing is certain: he's no fool. He found the treasure mentioned in the mysterious note quite easily.
