- Nilfgaardians are normally referred to as "Black Ones" by Nordlings(People of the Northern Kingdoms). This is due to the fact that Nilfgaardian armor is mostly painted black, coupling this with the fact that their marches on the North have been so brutal and cruel, it has caused many to associate them as black monsters rather than people.
