Gauntlets in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are pieces of Armor that can be equipped in the Hands slot. Armor refers to protective equipment that can be worn by Geralt to protect himself against Enemies and hazards. Armor is divided into three main categories by their weight class: Light, Medium and Heavy, with lighter armor providing the least protection in exchange for faster Stamina regeneration while heavier armor pieces provide the opposite. Each piece of armor contributes to Geralt's overall defenses, resistance to certain effects and damage types and more. Armor also changes Geralt's apperance, allowing for various aesthetic options for players to experiment with. Gauntlets are typically the lightest piece of armor in an ensemble in terms of weight.
