"When Geralt saw a dog which was clearly someone's beloved pet surrounded by a pack of starving wolves, he could not help but intefere and save the poor animal's life. The wolves slain, he petted the dog to calm it and discoverd there was a key sewn into its collar.
Geralt followed te dog to its owner's home. Sadly, there was no living soul within it."

Walkthrough
Upon first discovering this quest you will need to save the dog from the wolf pack, simply use Igni with a combination of sword attacks until they're slain. Afterwards follow the dog into Drudge, where you will find the bandits waiting by the signpost there. After killing them search inside the house they were standing by and use your witcher senses to dedicate the cellar. Once you have access to the cellar by using the key found on the dog's collar the quest will be complete.

Notes & Trivia
- If initially arriving at Drudge via boat and not running into the dog the bandits will not spawn within Drudge, because of this the player will be free to roam and will still be able to access the quest if they ride the road leading north.
