Superior Petri's Philter is a Potion in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Potions are special concoctions that Geralt can imbibe to gain a plethora of short-lived effects that are highly beneficial both in and out of combat. However, they also have adverse effects on his blood Toxicity that need to be managed. Potions can be used at any time from the Inventory, or they can be assigned to your Consumables Quickslots for easy access. They have a limited number of charges but can be replenished by Meditating for at least one hour while possessing one or more units of Alcohol.
This Potion is upgraded from Enhanced Petri's Philter.

The Superior Petri's Philter Potion has the following properties:
Increases Sign intensity. Extended duration. Signs always apply their special effects.
25% Sign intensity
This upgraded version of the Petri's Philter Potion further increases the intensity of all of Geralt's Witcher Signs magic and triples the Potion's duration. Additionally, it causes all Signs to always apply their special effects, detailed as follows:
- Aard - Now always causes the knockdown effect. Intensity increases amount of time opponents stay down.
- Igni - Scales the damage dealt by the Sign, including the initial wave and the damage-over-time effect when burning is applied. Now always applies the burning effect.
- Quen - Improves the shield's capability to absorb attacks before breaking. Now always staggers opponents on shield break.
- Yrden - Improves the Slowdown effect on enemies caught within the trap.
- Axii - Improves the effect's duration. Now always stuns opponents.
Superior Petri's Philter's effects have a base duration of 90 secs, but this can be improved with every single point invested in any Skills in the Alchemy Skill line.
Superior Petri's Philter Crafting Information in The Witcher 3
Like most Potions, Superior Petri's Philter can be crafted via Alchemy after finding and reading its Manuscript. Manuscripts can be found randomly in treasure chests, particularly guarded treasure, but many can also be purchased from Herbalists and Alchemists in major cities, towns and other settlements.
