Primary Romanceable Characters in The Witcher 3
Let's begin the guide with Geralt's one true love, Yennefer. The easiest and unmissable romance option is with Yennefer since two of the romanceable decisions take place during quests of the main storyline.
The first chance you'll get to romance Yennefer is during the quest, The King is Dead - Long Live the King. When you are about to choose an outfit for Geralt, make sure to select the black and white garments (Skellige attire from Yennefer's room). After the encounter with the Earth Elemental in the laboratory, make sure to choose to kiss Yeneffer once the room starts to fill up with gas and when she asks you to think of something. This will trigger Yennefer to teleport you safely to her bedroom. Once both of you are in the bedroom, choose the dialogue option "Wouldn't mind watching..." when she goes to fix her dress.
The second encounter to have a romanceable moment with Yennefer is during the main quest, No Place Like Home. Provided that you haven't had any romantic relationship or encounter with Triss. Simply complete the quest and accompany her to her room after supper. And lastly, as mentioned, if you avoided having a romantic encounter with Triss, and you've stuck with Yennefer, during the secondary quest, The Last Wish, simply tell Yen that you love her, this will trigger a lock-in with a romantic ending with Yennefer, where the story will end with Geralt and Yennefer retiring together in peace.
Triss Merigold

Triss is well known to be a romanceable character in previous franchises of The Witcher, and in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, Triss remains to be one of the Primary Characters available for romance if you choose to do so. The main factor to achieve this is to complete her side quest of Now or Never, but to do so, you will need to start with Count Reuven's Treasure and follow up with A Matter of Life and Death, and finish off with Now or Never.
Take note that if you did not already do A Walk on the Waterfront, then it will no longer be accessible once you start the Witch hunter's outpost section in this quest, and make sure you do not initiate a romantic relationship with Yennefer. Complete the quest to unlock A Matter of Life and Death. Once you are at the masquerade gala, after Triss gets drunk, you will have a timed dialogue option to kiss her, if this appears, make sure you do kiss Triss.
Next, continue to the quest Now or Never, make sure you defend the mages and when you're at the docks near the end of the quest, Triss decides to leave for Kovir along with the other sorcerers. Make sure you choose the dialogue option of asking her to stay to try and make the relationship work or tell her that you love her. If you did have a romantic moment with Triss in both A Matter of Life and Death and Now or never, Geralt will lock in the romantic relationship with Triss instead of Yennefer and his story will end with Triss. The couple moves north to Kovir, where Merigold earns a handsome living as an advisor to the king, and Geralt takes on the occasional Witcher Contract to keep his skills honed.
Secondary Romanceable Characters in The Witcher 3
Keira Metz served King Foltest's court back in Witcher 2. After the outcome of Witcher 2, she is forced to lay low. You can romance Keira after discovering her hideout in the Main Quest "Hunting a Witch" and triggering the Side Quest "A Towerful Mice," which will lead to the romance scene afterward.
Do take note that you'll need to accept Keira's invitation after the Main Quest involving her to trigger the first Side Quest. Her first Side Quest "A Towerful Mice", involves you helping the sorceress undo a curse from a nearby island. After finishing that, she'll ask you for one last "Favor for a Friend" which will lead you to retrieve some parcels that were lost in transit. Complete this to continue romancing Keira. Afterward, just play along with Keir until you eventually get to the scene where you romance Keira.
Shani is a new character added by the Hearts of Stone DLC that you can romance. During the Hearts of Stone expansion, you'll need to progress a a bit further until you reach the Dead Man's Party quest. This quest will take place in a wedding that will eventually trigger "A Midnight Clear" Quest. Here, you'll need to cheer Shani up up by giving her a bouquet of Rowan plants since it's her favorite. After collecting the berries, locate Shani near a table and give her the Rowan berries. She'll be happy that you remembered and will trigger a few dialogues that you need to answer correctly. Here are the answers required for each dialogue:
- You've got me.
- It was alright.
- Unfit - what's that mean?
- That was Vlodomir, not me.
- Let her down easy. I prefer you.
- Better by a mile.
- Kiss sure didn't sate me.
After the dialogues, you've already won Shani's heart. The romance scene will trigger/play afterward.
Sylvia Anna (Syanna)

Partake in the following Quests:
Syanna is a Romanceable character in the Blood and Wine DLC. To romance the Sorceress, you'll need to choose in the quest The Night of Long Fangs if you want to keep looking for Orianna or Seek out Syanna. Choose the latter since this will lead you to romancing Syanna in the future quests. Once you have chooses to seek out Syanna, this will trigger the quest Beyond Hill and Dale.
During this quest, you'll need to take on a Cloud Giant alongside Syanna which is kind of tricky. Just complete the fight by luring the enemy to one of the pillars around the area to stun it. This will provide you with enough time to deal massive damage. After defeating the foe, you'll need to choose between "Let her have her way with you." or "Some other time, maybe". Choose the first option, and this will trigger the romance scene with Syanna.
Madame Sasha or by the real name Carthia van Canten (Cantarella), is a spy who uses her beauty to spy on important individuals. You'll encounter her during the quest High Stakes. To romance her, you'll need to take part in Gwent tournament. You can either beat her in the game, or simply help her with the tournament.
This is quite an easy romance since afterwards, she'll invite you to dinner and this will trigger the Romance scene with this character.
Jutta an Dinum is a secret romanceable Character in the game. You'll need to challenge her on top of the hill to trigger the quest "Iron Maiden". Before you duel with Jutta, you first need to collect a blade that's believed to be immune to Nicks, Cracks, and other normal damages. When you return to Jutta, this is where your battle with her will start.
After defeating Jutta, she will commend you and will ask you how you trained. Mention Kaer Morhen and she will want to learn more privately. Agree with her and head to her ho,e in the beach to learn more about her. Upon arrival, she'll let you know that she will agree to romance with a man who manages to beat her. Just agree with her and this will trigger the romance scene with Jutta.
Brothels

Brothels are the easiest path for a temporary Romance. Partaking in brothels will not affect your relationships or quests with Triss or Yennefer. So feel free to go all out with this. There are three brothels that you can visit in Witcher 3. These are:
Passiflora
- This brothel is known to be one of the most expensive romance options in Witcher 3. This brothel is located East of St. gregory's bridge signpost. You can choose between Mercia, Bertha, and Suzy.
Crippled Kate’s
- If you're short on currencies, and cannot afford Passiflora, you may head to Crippled Kate's just Northeast of the Fish Market near Hierarch Square. You're choices here are Amrynn, Narcissa, and Viola.
The Belles of Beauclair
- One funny thing about this brothel is that one of the unnamed courtesans will assume that Geralt is just dressing up like a witcher which Geralt with correct. This Brothel is located North of the Beauclair Port Singpost, next to a butcher.
