Potion of Clearance is a Potion in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Potions are special concoctions that Geralt can imbibe to gain a plethora of short-lived effects that are highly beneficial both in and out of combat. However, they also have adverse effects on his blood Toxicity that need to be managed. Potions can be used at any time from the Inventory, or they can be assigned to your Consumables Quickslots for easy access. They have a limited number of charges but can be replenished by Meditating for at least one hour while possessing one or more units of Alcohol.  

This Potion cannot be upgraded.

Potion of Clearance Potion Attributes in The Witcher 3

The Potion of Clearance Potion has the following properties:

Returns all Ability Points spent to develop Abilities to the available pool so you can redistribute them.

This is a special Potion that allows Geralt to respec his Skills, returning all spent Skill Points to be redistributed by the player however they wish. Unlike most Potions, this one cannot be crafted and is typically purchased. It has a hefty price tag of 1,000  and comes in single, non-refillable doses.

The Potion of Clearance can be purchased from the following Merchants:

• Gremist, a druid near the pond north of Gedyneith in Ard Skellig.
• Herbalist at Coronata Vineyard in Toussaint.
• Herbalist at the Herb Store in Beauclair, the capital of Toussaint.
• Herbalist at Castel Ravello in Toussaint.
• Keira Metz at her hut northeast of Midcopse.
• Merchant in the Gildorf District of Novigrad.
• Merchant at the Perfumery in Beauclair, the capital of Toussaint.
• Wine Merchant at Dun Tynne Hillside in Toussaint.
• Yolar, a druid found in a cave beneath Gedyneith in Ard Skellig.

Note that when starting a New Game + playthrough, one potion is automaticaly added into Geralt's inventory for a free respec.

The Potion can also be found very rarely as random chest loot during New Game +.
