Hey, You Wanna Look at My Stuff? is a Secondary Quest in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Secondary Quests are optional Quests not required to finish the game. Some of these quests may have a bearing on certain Main Quests or may be a consequence of another Quest.

Hey, You Wanna Look at My Stuff? can be obtained by speaking to the merchant marked with a yellow exclamation mark northwest of Hierarch Square in Novigrad. He asks Geralt to hide his illegal business from the witch hunters.

Novigrad, the most cosmopolitan city of the North, attracts its fair share of oddballs and eccentrics. One of them was a merchant dealing in unusual goods. While talking to Geralt he spied some witch hunters approaching and fled at once. Still interested in the secretive merchant's secret wares, Geralt decided to hunt him down.

Walkthrough for The Witcher 3 Hey, You Wanna Look at My Stuff?

Once you approach the merchant, talk to him and he'll reveal he has a number of mages' items for sale and apparently they're pilfered from the homes of those who are burned at the stake before the witch hunters could gather up the contraband.

Once you ask him what else he has, he will ask you to not reveal why he was there and runs off. A few moments later, several witch hunters arrive at the scene asking why the halfling ran off when he saw them. You can either cover for him and gain 10 XP, or turn him in. It is important that you agree to see the merchant's inventory to start the quest. You would also need to cover for him in order to have access to his supplies and use him as a merchant later on.

Once you've covered for him, examine the item near where he was standing earlier and pick up a scent trail and follow it. It should lead you to where the merchant is hiding. Once you approach him, he'll thank you for not turning him in and offers a discount on his stuff. After your conversation with the merchant, the quest concludes.
