Harassing a Troll is a Secondary Quest in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Secondary Quests are optional Quests not required to finish the game. Some of these quests may have a bearing on certain Main Quests or may be a consequence of another Quest.
Harassing a Troll is an unmarked quest and can be difficult to find the specific location, other than it is located somewhere around Mudplough.

Once you reach the area Northwest of the Inn at the Crossroads, you will see a campsite where a Rock Troll is being attacked by 5 Nekkers in the area. Intervene and kill the 5 Nekkers to save the Rock Troll. Afterward, a dialogue will play out where Geralt speaks to the Rock Troll named Boris. He explains that he included a Nekker as an ingredient for his soup to make it taste good. There are two dialogue options you can choose from:
- Nothing else is there?
- Nekker Soup
As to which you can choose both dialogue options after the other. You will then be rewarded with a Head of an Elf, crowns, and XP. After your conversation, the quest will be completed.
